This week's Arabian race winners at Retama Park:
SE BUNKER BUSTER, TM Burn Out, & Triumphs Pearl
$24,500 paid out to Arabians this week in 3 races!
And $40,000 in stakes races coming this weekend.
3 September - SE BUNKER BUSTER closed well to win by a nose over BUDDY OF MINE in the $10,000 Claimer going 7 furlongs. Burning Fever was third only a nose over Finales Magic SWA in forth. Time of the race was 1:34.94.

Owned by Ray Teutsch and trained by Elizabeth Brand, SE BUNKER BUSTER took home the lion's share of the $8,500 purse. He's a 6 year old horse by BURNING SAND out of Soaring Alee by Anchor Hill Aly, bred in Colorado by Jane Teutsch. The Teutchs own Arabian farms both in Colorado and Texas, and Ray serves on the board of directors for TABA.
5 September - TM Burn Out made her racing debut and won the $7,500 filly and mare maiden special weight race-- doing it in a speedy time of 1:13.72, only fractions off the track record for 5 1/2 furlongs. She demolished the field by 13 3/4 lengths. Second was Explosive Heat MHF, third Caitsablazing, and forth Zakora... all first time starters in this field of 11.

TM Burn Out is owned and bred by Todd Moak, trained by Ernesto Torrez. She is a 3 year old by BURNING SAND and out of FC Bint Chezi by Ala Croixnoire. Todd Moak serves on the TABA board of directors, and is also a partner in ownership of the stallion BURNING SAND.
10 September - Triumphs Pearl won the $8,500 non-winners-of-3 Allowance race for fillies and mares going 6 furlongs in 1:22.92. She ran right off the pace taking the lead in the stretch to win by 2 lengths over Step Right Up with Bluffdale Delight MKP third and Chndakas Masquerade fourth.

Triumphs Pearl is a 4 year old grey filly by Seyvilla Triumph and out of Matilda El Orzel by Essquire. She is owned and bred by Joe and Betty Gillis and trained by Jerry Partin.

Purse to be divided 50% to the owner of the winner, 22% to second, 12% to third, 7% to fourth, 5% to fifth and 4% to sixth. Weight: 122 Lbs. The field will be limited to (12) twelve horses. Highest career earnings at time of entry will be preferred. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. Horses not drawing a starting position in the gate will receive a refund of the entry fee. Trophy to the winning owner. One Mile.
