News "Splash"! The running of the Grade 3 Mandolynn Hill Farm-ARC Stakes on Friday night at Lone Star Park was a messy event in the rain and mud. The track conditions were so undesireable that after the 2nd Arabian stake the races were called off for the rest of the evening. Despite the sloppy track, the two stakes races ticked off great fractions and fine finishing times. BURNING FANCY won the division for fillies and mares, and SO BIG IS BETTER won male division.
