Seven maiden fillies went to post for the 3rd race at Lone Star Park. The race was entered by eleven horses, but unfortunately there were 4 vet scratches.

Caitsablazing went off the odds-on favorite and proved her supporters right. Pressing the pace with David Alvarez aboard, she battled with Ella MHF to take command at the 1/2 mile pole. She drew well clear in the stretch to win by 3 1/4 lengths.

Ella MHF was second, undoubtedly next best in the field tonight. WMA Salvation was third, Irish Cream AR was fourth. Quick Kittie, French Silke, and WMA Davids Dance finished out the field.

Caitsablazing is a 4 year old chestnut filly by Kador De Blaziet out of Springtyme Sally, by Monarch AH. She was foaled in Texas, bred and owned by Sam Vasquez. This was the fourth start of her race career. Time of the 5 1/2 furlongs, 1:14.99

Mikeadors Jules, near the front from the start, came up on the rail and took the lead from Chinaactic at the 1/4. Casper Garcia barely had to ask for Mikeador Jules to open up on the lane, finishing clear 4 1/2 lengths the winner.

Mikeadors Jules is a 4 year old colt by Kador De Blaziet out of Tiki Destiny, by Sambors Destiny. The stout chestnut was bred in Texas by Sam Vasquez, also the owner.

Chinaactic was easily 2nd, and Walk The Line CS and Dacotah Dancer had a photo for show. Dacotah Dancer took 3rd and Walk The Line CS forth. WMA Silver Sword, BR LittleRed, Duro, Raineman, Songdaka, WMA Rhema, and Showtheway also ran. Time of the 6 furlong race, 1:21.30.
