The Arabians began their meet at Sam Houston Race Park this weekend with a NW2 allowance race going 6 1/2 furlongs for $6,000, and a NW3 allowance for the fillies and mares going 6 furlongs for $6,200.

Congratulations to the two winners on final night of the Lone Star Park meet. This was a fantastic meet with very full fields, competitive horses and good bettor support. We appreciate all the assistance from the Lone Star staff for horsemen and promotion. This is a high class facility and it is an honor to showcase our Arabians there.
November 29, 2009... Chays Zell MKP closed well to win by 3 lengths in a 12 horse field- claiming race for fillies and mares, 6 furlongs, $5,500 purse. Then in the open claimer also worth $5,500, Ala Bout Me recovered from an awkward start to take the lead and set the pace, winning by 3/4 in a 12 horse field- 6 furlongs, time 1:20.96.
