RICH KINKGA VICTORIOUS IN FILLIES AND MARES DIVISION OF GRADE 3, $20,000 ARABIAN STALLION STAKES
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Friday, October 12, 2012) Odds on favorite, RICH KINKGA settled off the pace early, took the lead at the top of the stretch and drew away to a three and three quarter-length victory in the fifth running of the Grade 3, $20,000 Arabian Stallion Stakes, Fillies and Mares Division, Friday night at Lone Star Park.
Owned by Rosebrook Farms LLC and trained by Randy Nunley, the four-year-old filly appeared comfortable and strong under a confident ride by jockey Martin Solis.
The Florida-bred daughter of TH RICHIE covered the one-mile distance in 1:48.91. RICH KINKGA has now won three of 12 starts and the $12,000 winner’s share of the purse increased her lifetime earnings to $57,409.
Pacesetter, Lori Anne, lost the lead at the top of the stretch, but held on comfortably to second six and a half lengths ahead of third-place finisher Well Liked. Dancelildiamond, Lil Rich Girl, Sand On Fire and Rich Sister completed the order of finish.
RICH KINKGA paid $3.00, $2.10, $2.10. Lori Anne paid $2.80, $2.10 and Well Liked paid $2.40.
