update 1/14/2012- The Texas Racing Commission has approved this stake to be run pari-mutual. The riders are all ladies amateur jockeys from overseas who will be brought in for the race by the sponsor. The Sheikh will be allowed to select the mount for his rider (TABA´s understanding, the one from his country) then the trainers will have information on the other riders and make arrangements with them. Any jockey mounts that are not worked out ahead of time will be assigned by track using the usual procedure.
